Support Paela Argus — Buy a Coffee ☕

Everything here is volunteer work. No fees, no paywall, no “must donate”. If you simply want to help keep the energy going, a small donation (even a few euros) is always appreciated.

100% Free Work • 0% Profit

I work completely for free for OSgrid and OpenSimulator communities. My services, tools, scripts, platform access, support, and developments are provided without asking a single cent.

My Sunlight region rental service is not profitable, never has been, and never will be. I do not aim to make money from it. Region hosting is a passion project built for the community and my tenants not a business model.

I apply datacenter-grade quality to every server I manage:

No overselling No overload No hidden fees No extra charges No bot surcharges No service limits

My tenants enjoy high-performance infrastructure with zero stress: no lag, no forced add-ons, no resource restrictions, no artificial limits, no “premium upsell”.

There is no financial gain behind region rentals. I simply refuse to apply low-quality hosting — even if it means the service will never generate profit.

Quality first. Community first. Passion first.
Not money. Not profit. Just pure, honest tech and care.

About me

My name is Paela Argus in virtual worlds, sometimes also known as Umberrock. I travel across many virtual grids and communities, always active and curious. On Osgrid I am deeply involved, not only as a technical and web administrator, but also as inworld admin and head of the mentors team. I am also a board member of Osgrid, helping to shape decisions and guide the future of the grid.

In the real world my passion for technology continues. I design and develop software, create websites, manage large server infrastructures, and I have a long background working in datacenters. Technology is not just a job for me, it is a way of life. I usually work between eleven and thirteen hours a day because I enjoy building, coding, and solving problems. I also dedicate a lot of time as a volunteer for Osgrid, contributing to its community and technical growth.

Outside of the purely technical world, I am also active in associations. I am part of UPCV, a table tennis club, where I am responsible for events and animation. I also serve as president of two other associations, showing my commitment to teamwork and community life.

I am known for speaking directly and honestly. I go straight to the point, even if my words sometimes sound harsh. My goal is always to move forward, improve, and help people both in digital spaces and in real life. If you want to truly understand who I am, the best way is to meet me in Osgrid, where you will see what it means to be Paela Argus.

Note: Donations are optional and meant as a friendly gesture (“coffee money”), not payment for services.
